Order of the Vile Blood

1.
Veiled by the dark coat of night Beyond the forest, my home I drink from the bleeding trees Leaving behind their husks on stakes Crawling on the walls Like an unholy beast Every night I stray further from the light Now I’m sinful by my own will, I choose this I strip myself from God I strip myself from God Your empty symbols don’t scare me I will feed on you, on your fear Abandoned by my own Your betrayal shall not go unpunished I won’t let my name be tarnished Famished A blood mist Disrobe Lay your body to me Surrender yourself To the forbidden fruit
2.
Children cry after a sibling has been taken Parents cower Hide in their homes with the hope that we cannot enter Fools Your empty symbols do not scare me They’re just receptacles for shame Your purity is a façade Just pretending So you can feel you’re righteous A new era approaches One of legitimate power Those who aren’t willing to serve us WIll be treated as if they were cattle Our bloodline will prevail among the others
3.
Dodging questions Pointing the finger the other way With more scum like you Protecting from skeptics Claiming it’s all fake Coward You hide behind your lies Piece of shit, hypocrite You think nobody could ever find out Aryan races and gas chambers Remain hidden from the masses The black suns, the swastika, The sieg heils will betray you I won’t claim you’re a nazi for not liking Myrkur I’m calling out the Totenkopf Be sincere with your intentions No more bullshit, no more lies For someone who claims to not care You sure hide a lot of things

Welcome to this Our Satanic ritual Once in there's no escape You're now undead Granted the wish Of immortality Doomed to roam forever Forever Darkness creatures Children of the night A hate-filled Procession of strigoi Your fear Will only make things worse Join Us Become of Us

about

An even less serious endeavor than what Lord Sithis already is, but related enough.
Taking a bit more from Les Legions Noires and Gothic Ambient, this project delves into the Vampyric traditions and literature in a LoFi manner.
I'm well aware of the lack of bass guitar, but that is because i didn't want to put in the effort to remember what i played, so i used a MIDI contrabass instead.

Project name taken from the Russian translation of Tolstoy's La Famille du Vourdalak (Семья вурдалака romanized as "Semya′ vurdala′ka" or as "Sem'ya vurdalaka"), done by Boleslav Markevich.

Album name taken from the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, that features a vampire hunter group called Order of the Virtuous Blood. At the time i did not remember the Vilebloods from Bloodborne, but i guess it kinda fits.

Artist name taken partially from Dracula, by Bram Stoker, where some villagers mention some of these words. Vrolok and Strigoi are different Eastern European terms for creatures of the night (witches, vampires, werewolves and more, depending on the source), Drakul essentially meaning "the Devil"or variations from that (from Latin, draco meaning dragon) and Pokol meaning Hell.

Even the price has symbology, apparently... with three being a sacred number in a lot of cultures (Holy Trinity, Trimurti, the Celtic god triads etc.), five being the five pointed star and six being the "imperfect/impure number" in Abrahamic numerology (666 and all that) as opposed to 7, the "perfect number".
I think i've put way too much thought into this.

Key differences between this and Lord Sithis (because i apparently need to justify myself):
1. Use of MIDI (forbidden in LS, essential here)
2. Themes (LS is based on the Elder Scrolls, this is mostly just vampire stuff, but also other things if i feel like it)
3. LS is (kind of) serious, this really isn't
4. Right now, LS is turning into a more War Metal thing (just you wait) but this is a bit more traditional and raw than even the LS self-titled. The type of Ambient here is different from what i intend to add on future LS releases (also a bigger percentage of the album is Ambient). And also Doom Metal, for some reason
